Tavern58 is a medium to upper-medium priced casual-theme restaurant serving a well rounded selection of traditional American and Northeast regional dishes; a healthy mix of steaks, chops, fowl, seafood and pastas with a healthy offering of old-fashioned tavern fare. The décor for Tavern58 at Gibbs can be described as authentic American Tavern, celebrating the history of restaurants and entertainment in downtown Rochester in traditional tavern style, where the feel is comfortable and casual. The restaurant consists of three distinct rooms with each taking on its own unique flair. Yet throughout there will be a predominance of comfort…in the chairs, the wooden accent furnishings, the brass accents…the low key lighting.
