Deputy Mayor Patricia Malgieri presided at the official grand opening of Tavern 58 at Gibbs downtown today. Partners Nicholas Dwyer, Ryan Dwyer and Michael Schnupp celebrated the opening of their new upscale, but casual city tavern that specializes in traditional, Northeast regional American cuisine.
The proprietors have invested over $100,000.00 in the building and will be creating 26 full-time jobs. The City's Economic Development Department is assisting the business with matching grants from the Neighborhood Commercial Assistance Program.
